You can set custom check intervals for each subscription. Options range from every 30 minutes to daily, or you can set a custom interval. The system respects your chosen intervals to avoid overloading sources.

7. Can I monitor multiple keywords at once?

Yes! You can enter multiple keywords separated by commas. Pulse Index will notify you when any of your keywords are found in the content.

8. What happens if a video doesn't have captions?

Pulse Index requires videos to have captions or transcripts available. If a video doesn't have captions, it cannot be searched. Most YouTube videos have auto-generated captions available.

9. How do notifications work?

When your keywords are found, notifications appear in your notification center. For YouTube videos, notifications include clickable timestamps that jump directly to the relevant moment. You can mark notifications as read or delete them individually.

Pulse Index performs exact keyword matching (case-insensitive). It searches for your keywords as they appear in transcripts, article titles, and content. For best results, use specific keywords rather than very common words.

16. What happens if a subscription fails to check?

If a subscription check fails (e.g., due to network issues or source unavailability), the system will retry on the next scheduled check. Failed checks are logged but don't affect your other subscriptions.

No, Pulse Index can only monitor publicly accessible content. It cannot access private YouTube videos, password-protected websites, or content behind paywalls that require authentication.

You can delete individual notifications by clicking the delete button on each notification, or use the "Clear All" button to remove all notifications at once. Deleted notifications cannot be recovered.
